What is ShopWithScrip.com? It is your
free online scrip management software from Great Lakes Scrip (GLS). This site offers you convenience. ShopWithScrip is a fully secured web application allowing you to place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, from any internet connected computer! ShopWithScrip is more accurate than traditional paper order forms; discounts, products and denominations are updated immediately by GLS as changes occur. ShopWithScrip provides timely family reports showing purchase history and current order status.
Enrollment Any family can use ShopWithScrip. However, to place an order you must establish a link from your account to St. Romuald by entering the following enrollment code:

Once you have registered, you can place an order online anytime you wish. The Scrip Office receives an email notifying us each time an order is placed. Although you may place an order anytime you’d like, please keep in mind that Mondays are our order days, therefore, Monday is the day that we will also submit online orders. So if you place an order online on a Tuesday, your order will not actually be submitted until the following Monday. GLS will process the orders and ship them directly to our office. All orders, whether placed online or by paper form, will be distributed on Thursdays during office hours. You may request your order to be sent home with a child or you may pick it up in our office.
Payment Option: Presto-Pay Another wonderful feature of ShopWithScrip is the payment option of
Presto-Pay. Presto-Pay is a convenient way to pay your organization online at the time you place your order. GLS will electronically accept your payment on behalf of St. Romuald Scrip Program. GLS will automatically debit your checking account for the face value amount of your order, plus a small convenience fee of $0.15, and hold that payment until your order has been released by your coordinator. Remember, this will take place on Mondays.
To begin the enrollment process, simply click on the link in the blue box on your Family Home page. Carefully read the terms and conditions before clicking “Yes, I agree.” Complete the form with your banking information and click “Next.” At this point, you will need to wait for GLS to verify the account. This process typically takes two business days. You can still place your order, but must pay by check until your account is completely verified. To verify your account information, GLS will make two small
deposits of money into your designated account (mine were .22 and .23). Once you receive the deposits, take note of both amounts and return to your Family Home Page on ShopWithScrip.com. Enter the two digit amounts supplied by your bank as deposited by GLS, and click “Next.” Once your account has been verified, they will send you a 4 digit access number which you will then give to us so we can activate your account. Once we have this 4-digit code entered,
you are ready to Presto-Pay!
Payment Option: Personal Check: NOW….for those of you not interested in Presto-Pay, you still have the option of paying for your order with a check. In fact, you will have the option to select your payment type each time you order, during the check-out process. If you choose the “check” option, please make sure the money is sent to school or dropped off at the office by Monday, or your order will not go through. All orders need to be paid “in full” before the orders are released by the coordinator.
Local Scrip Vendors ShopWithScrip allows us to enter all of our local scrip vendors into their software program. They are not listed separately on the website but rather alphabetically listed among the national scrip retailers. This is a wonderful feature ShopWithScrip offers us. We can get everything we need in one order!
Placing an Order To begin ordering scrip, choose one of the shopping methods available on your Family Home Page:
By Brand: If you know the name of the product (s) you wish to purchase, your starting point is the Search Brands box. Simply type a portion of the name or the full product name in the box & select “Go.”
By Category: To shop for a retailer by type of store, select the “Browse” button. Choose the category of interest, or if you are unsure, choose “All Categories.” Narrow your choice by selecting the first letter of the desired retailer or product. For instance, if you wanted to purchase a $50 Save-A-Lot card, you would select “S” and all retailers beginning with “S” will be listed. Scroll down the page until you find Save-A-Lot. For details about the card and/or to make a purchase, click on the logo or underlined link.
Express Add: If you know exactly what you are ordering and want to quickly add these items to your shopping cart, choose the “Express Add” option on your homepage. With this option, all you have to do is to type the first few letters of the item you are looking for. The drop down box will contain all products whose names begin with the letters you type. Select the item you wish to add, enter the quantity desired and press enter or click “Add to Cart.” A pop-up box will appear at the top of the screen, directly below the address bar letting you know you have successfully added the product to your cart.
Favorites: While you are shopping, you have the option of adding frequently purchased products to a personal “Favorites” folder. If you have selected a product that you anticipate purchasing frequently in the future, click “Add to Favorites.” You can also add to your Favorites directly from your shopping cart, or save the entire cart! Once you have established a Favorites list, you can use it to quickly place your order. Choose “Add to Cart” next to the product you wish to purchase. Fill in the Quantity and select “Add to Cart.” A box at the top of your screen verifies that your choice has been added to your cart.
Checking Out When you have finished shopping, click the “Checkout” button to review your shopping cart. Verify the denomination and quantity for each item. To make changes to the product quantity, click the
“Edit” button. Clicking “Works At” will allow you to see where the card is redeemable. You can also “Add it to your Favorites” or “Remove” it from your order. Once you have verified your order, click the “Checkout” button to confirm. The next step is choosing your form of payment: Presto-Pay or Check. Then click “Confirm Your Order”.
If you pay by check, be sure to print your order confirmation and submit it along with your check to the Scrip Office. There is a place on your Order Confirmation printout for you to indicate how you would like to receive your order. If requesting it to be sent home with a child, please indicate child’s name and grade. If someone other than you is picking up the order, please indicate the name of individual.
If you pay via Presto-Pay, you will receive the following message on your Order Confirmation page: “The Presto-Pay system will debit your bogus account (XXXXXX2256) with the amount of $90.15.” You may print this out for your records alone. We will not need a copy of this from you.
Reloading Cards ShopWithScrip offers you the opportunity to “reload” funds onto gift cards you already possess— and still earn a rebate for your organization! To see the retailers participating in this reload service, log on to your ShopWithScrip account and click “Reload.” Click on the “Order” button located in the Reload box. Be sure you are clicking in the Card Reload box and not one of the boxes with the denomination listed. If you do not order the reload, you will receive a new card instead of reloading your existing one. In the pop-up box, enter the card number and give the card a nickname for easy identification. Click the orange “Register Card” button. Once you have registered a card, you will be able to select the card from a drop-down menu for future reload transactions. On the next screen, enter the amount of money you would like to add to the card (notice the minimum and maximum amounts) and select “Add to Cart.” A box at the top of your screen verifies the reload has been added to your cart. At this time, you may add more items to your order. Keep in mind, though, that if you are paying with Presto-Pay and want your card reloaded as soon as possible, Reload cards are the only items you can have in your order. If you have more items to purchase that are not Reloads, you will want to place that order separately. Otherwise your card will not be activated until your organization’s total order has been placed by your coordinator and processed by GLS. If you are finished, continue to the checkout. Select your payment options and click “Confirm your Order.” If you select Presto-Pay and only reload-able items are in your cart, you will immediately receive a confirmation page stating the exact date and time your reloaded funds will be available for use. If you opt to pay by check or if you pay by Presto-Pay and have
other non-reloaded items in the order, your Reloads will not take place until your coordinator processes your order. Once that has been processed, you will receive an email stating when your reloaded fund will be available for use.
